RHS® SBC Single Plane Intake Manifolds are designed to provide power and a strong torque curve throughout the mid to high RPM range for both EFI and carbureted Small Block Chevy applications.
RHS® SBC Aluminum Intake Manifolds are designed to provide power and a strong torque curve throughout the mid-RPM range for both EFI and carbureted Small Block Chevy applications.

RHS® SBC Aluminum Single Plane Intake Manifolds are engineered specifically to port match fit RHS® 23° Small Block Chevy cylinder heads. Additionally, these manifolds are the only ones designed with a 4150 flange and bolt machining to fit all versions of SBC heads, including classic originals, Vortec GM heads and late model perimeter corner vertical bolt style crate engine heads. They provide the power and strong torque curve throughout the mid-RPM range that is required for performance street, circle track and drag race applications up to 434c.i. The manifolds also feature auxiliary water ports, integral water crossover and dual-sided distributor mounting points. Female pipe fittings at all four corners allow external water lines for reverse cooling applications. RHS® and sister company FAST™ have also teamed up to design a revolutionary port fuel injection version of the 23° Aluminum Manifolds. Unlike the competition, the EFI manifold features port angle, optimized injector bung mounting and machining features. FAST™ engineers laid the injectors down on an angle that points injectors directly at the valve stem. The EFI manifold also features integral sensors improving function, fitment and packaging. EFI versions are also available in kits featuring FAST™ fuel rails with all related mounting parts. Fuel rail mounting stands for either LS2 or LS3/LS7 height injectors are included. New RHS® Pro Elite™ LS7 CNC-Machined 307cc Big Port Cylinder Heads are designed for 454-502c.i. street engines that require additional runner volume and air flow to support the large cubic inch design.

Big engines make big power, but often cylinder heads don’t provide the necessary flow characteristics for large power plants. New RHS® Pro Elite™ LS7 Big Port Cylinder Heads solve this problem. They are the only raised runner aftermarket LS7 heads with the runner volume to support large cubic inch applications, yet are still able to utilize both production and aftermarket intake manifolds and valve trains. The heads work well with all existing LS7 parts, but have a bigger intake port size and valve than the standard RHS® Pro Elite™ LS7 Cylinder Heads. These aluminum, CNCmachined heads feature a 307cc intake runner, 98cc exhaust runner and 69cc chamber volume. The intake valve is 2.250" x 5/16," while the exhaust valve is 1.615" x 8mm. Designed for 454-502c.i. street engines, RHS® Pro Elite™ LS7 Big Port Cylinder Heads are also ideal for smaller cubic inch, all-out race engines. - Part# 54504

Ultra-Gold™ ARC Rockers have arrived with design updates and features that take the line of rockers to a whole new level of performance

Memphis, TN − The next generation of COMP Cams® Ultra-Gold™ ARC Series Aluminum Rocker Arms have arrived. The new ARC series has design updates and new features that take the popular line of rockers to a whole new level.

The original Ultra-Gold™ Aluminum Rockers changed the way racing and high performance street engine builders approached valve train design. Now, COMP Cams® is revolutionizing valve train performance again with the next generation of Ultra-Gold™ ARC Series Aluminum Rocker Arms, featuring an Arced, Recessed, Contoured design. Using cutting edge design techniques and manufacturing processes, Ultra-Gold™ ARC Rockers increase engine power, enhance valve train stability and improve oiling. Ultra-Gold™ ARC Rockers feature a new extrusion based on improvements developed through FEA analysis, resulting in an even stronger, stiffer body without compromising mass. A new arced channel and contoured top, similar to a bridge design, give the rockers the best strength-to-weight ratio possible. The body has additional CNC contouring to improve clearances for valve covers and springs. Manufactured entirely in the U.S.A., all Ultra-Gold™ ARC Series Aluminum Rocker Arms feature a spring oiler channel through the body for improved lubrication. Trunnion retaining clips have been replaced with an ultra durable spiral lock type clip, similar to what holds a piston pin in place. Stress relieving radii have also been added to areas of the body, trunnion and pushrod seat insert. Even the included locking nuts have been revised to increase surface area to better maintain lash and eliminate wear.

COMP Cams® Topless 100 Coming Up in August

The 19th Annual COMP Cams® Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway is rapidly approaching as the South prepares for its only true crown jewel event.

The 19th Annual COMP Cams® Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway is rapidly approaching as the South prepares for its only true crown jewel event.
Memphis, TN − As the summer heat begins to reign supreme throughout the South, racers and fans know that it means the 19th Annual COMP Cams® Topless 100 is just around the corner. The mega-event is scheduled for August 18th-20th, 2011, at the picturesque Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas).

While many other areas of the country play host to "crown jewel" events each year, the Topless 100 is arguably the South’s only true elite event. While many insiders in the sport argue what does and doesn't qualify an event as a crown jewel, most agree that there are few events in the South that meet the criteria for the status. The Topless 100, however, definitely makes the cut. For the past eighteen years, the event, which was the brainchild of Batesville Motor Speedway general manager and promoter Mooney Starr, has been the biggest paying Dirt Late Model event in the South. With the big paydays each year come incredibly talented fields of cars at the 3/8 mile oval track, and over the years there have been some truly memorable moments.

The $40,000 first place check for the 100 lap event is no doubt a tasty incentive for any driver, but the prestige that goes with a COMP Cams® Topless 100 title is equally appetizing for drivers from the region.

Batesville, Arkansas driver Billy Moyer, Jr., has been part of several COMP Cams® Topless 100 victory celebrations before, but they have come with his dad, the legendary Billy Moyer, in victory lane.

"I've been to victory lane with Dad four times now over the years, and that's really cool," comments Moyer, Jr. "However, I want to know what it feels like to be the one lifting that trophy over my head at this event. I grew up going to this race, and dreaming of racing in it one day and winning it. The best drivers in the country are right here in my backyard that weekend, and it's my chance to be the best. I probably want that win more than any other. We just don't have many races of that magnitude in this area."

A fellow Batesville native got to do the unthinkable at the event in 2010, as Jared Landers killed two birds with one stone by getting his first Dirt Late Model win and his COMP Cams® Topless 100 victory at the same time.

"It was all so unbelievable. I grew up in Batesville so obviously I've been going to that track my whole life, and I've seen every COMP Cams® Topless 100,” states the 29-year-old Landers. “As a kid you dream of winning that race, but it just seems so impossible. To win that race last year, which was also my first Super Late Model win, was unreal. Everybody asked me when it finally hit me that I had won the Topless 100, and to be honest it was probably that next week, while I was looking at the trophy in my shop. It still seems so unreal."

For all of the COMP Performance Group™ companies, the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour was filled with great memories and friends, both new and old
Memphis, TN − For all of the COMP Performance Group™ companies, the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour was filled with great memories and friends, both new and old.

On Saturday, June 4th, the COMP Performance Group™ companies met up with the rest of the Power Tour hot rodders in Cocoa Beach, FL, for the first stop of the tour. CPG and the long haulers spent a week traveling north until the final stop in Detroit, MI, on June 10th.  However, on June 11th, many of the long haulers went on to the GM Proving Grounds, where they put their cars and their driving skills to the test. COMP Cams® was once again proud to be the main stage sponsor for the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour, but all COMP Performance Group™ companies, including TCI®, RHS®, FAST™, ZEX™, Inglese™, Quarter Master® and Powerhouse®, were represented at the CPG booth located next to the main stage on each stop of the tour. There were fun events and contests for children and adults at every stop, including an adults’ big wheel race and children’s coloring contests. COMP® also brought back the popular Engine Builder Duel for the Nashville, TN, and Indianapolis, IN, stops. At every stop, CPG technicians were on hand to answer questions, make recommendations, hand out literature, sell merchandise and just talk with fans and visitors. With approximately 1,200 long haulers and thousands of cars at every stop, it was a great week for gearheads and aftermarket enthusiasts. The COMP Performance Group™ wishes to thank everyone involved for making the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour a trip that will be remembered for a lifetime.
